Sunset & Super Buck Moon Paddle!

8 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Join us on Allamuchy Pond for a scenic evening paddle under the illuminated Super Buck Moon sky

We will have canoes, single, and tandem kayaks for rent, and our ACA-certified canoe and kayak instructor and lifeguard will be at the dock to provide assistance.

All abilities are welcome, minors must be accompanied by an adult.

What is a Super Buck Moon?

The full moon in July gets its name from the buck deer that are growing their new antlers this time of year, and it is a Super Moon because the moon appears bigger as it passes the earth in its closest path of orbit.

Boat Rentals for 1.5 hours

8:00 - 9:30  Enjoy an evening paddle and the sunset from the lake (the moon will not be visible this early in the evening)

9:30 - 11:00 Enjoy an evening paddle under the moonlight  (the moon will hopefully appear over Allamuchy Mountain towards the end of your paddle).

Single Kayak - $30, 1.5-hour rental, Designed for 1 paddler and possible 1 small child passenger (up to max combined weight of 350 lbs)

Tandem Kayak - $40, 1.5-hour rental, Designed for 2 paddlers and possible 1-2 small children passengers (up to max combined weight of 400 lbs)

Canoe - $40, 1.5-hour rental, Designed for 2 paddlers and possible 1-3 passengers (up to max combined weight of 1,000 lbs)

*All rentals include paddle and lifejackets.

*We can not guarantee clear skies or that the moon will be visible.

*A full refund will be given if we need to cancel the rentals due to rain, or thunder and lightning.
