CAMP   ALLAMUCHY  at

A Summer To Remember

June 24th - August 16th, 2024

 

  • Camp is open to students who have completed Kindergarten through students that will be entering High School
  • Sessions are 1 week and run from 9 am - 4 pm, except session 1, and some extended hours on trip days.
  • Optional before care 7 am - 9 am $60/wk  and aftercare 4 pm - 6 pm $60/wk available

 

Session 2 - July 1st - 3rd, CLOSED July 4th & 5th

Eye on the Target

$350 Register after April 15th

Nerf, laser tag, water balloons and archery!  This short week will focus on a variety of fun games and activities sure to improve your campers eye hand coordination. Trips will include bowling laser tag, and maybe more.

 

Session 3 -  July 8th - 12th

Take Flight

$525 Register after April 15th

It's a plane, it's a rocket, it's a drone, it's your camper, no wait it's all of them!  Campers will make planes, build rockets and fly drones during this aeronautical themed week.  We are even planning a trip to iFly where campers will get to experience the feeling of skydiving from only a few feet off the ground.

 

Session 4 -  July 15th - 19th

Outdoor Explorer

$500 Register after April 15th

Back to the great outdoors.  We will go boating, hiking, fishing and more!  Campers will explore nature while learning about safety, preparedness and the world around them.  Nature themed crafts, shelter building, and archery  are only a few of the activities we will be enjoying this week!  This week we are planning a fun boating, and rock-climbing trip.

 

Session 5 -  July 22nd - 26th

Winter in July

$500 Register after April 15th

Snow, Snow, Snow!  Yes, even in July.  We will have a snow ball fight, go sledding, and eat snow (or snow cones ableist)  It will be a winter themed week with an ugly t-shirt contest (July is just too warm for a sweater), chilling experiments, and a trip to Big Snow at the American Dream Mall for some snow-tastic fun!

 

Session 6 -  July 29th - August 2nd

Rewind into History

$500 Register after April 15th

Step back in time as we explore the past.  Dinosaurs, the wild west, and more, each day will be a different adventure into the past.  We will learn about some of our local history, and take a trip to the American Museum of Natural History.  Campers will enjoy all the fun they will have this week while learning a few things along the way!

 

Session 7 -  August 5th - 9th

Summer Olympics

$500 Register after April 15th

Going to Paris is out of the question, so Paris and the 2024 Summer Olympics are coming to us.  Campers will compete in a wide variety of summer Olympic sports.  Soccer, archery, basketball, track & field, boating and so much more.  This week will be packed with a lot of fun competition some traditional sports and some that we have modified a bit.  We are also planning a trip to the Somerset Patriots game where maybe we will see a future Olympic baseball player.

 

Session 8 -  August 12th - 16th

Rides and Slides

$700 Register after April 15th

Do you enjoy the excitement of rides and waterslides?  Campers will take daily trips to different theme parks and waterparks in the region supervised by our experienced counselors and camp lifeguards.  Trips may include any of the following: Camelbeach, Dorney Park, Great Adventure/Hurricane Harbor, Frog Falls, Funplex, Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, and more.  This is a super fun week with a trip every day!

In addition to themed activities each week, campers will enjoy a variety of scheduled and choice activities including swimming, boating, sports, archery, arts & crafts, games, and nature activities. 

 

Refund Policy:

100% refund - 5% processing fee if canceled by May 1st
75% refund if canceled by June 1st
50% refund if canceled by June 12th
25% refund if canceled June 25th -8 days before the start of the session.

Rutherfurd Hall is a cultural center and a museum owned and managed by the Allamuchy Township Board of Education. Rutherfurd Hall provides educational and enrichment opportunities for the residents of Allamuchy and the surrounding communities.
